I am so happy with my decision to go back to the basics with newborn sessions. No more loading up the car with all kinds of backdrop paper, clips, bean bag chairs, blankets, basket of props, space heater, heating pad etc etc. Now I just load the camera bag and I am off! My newborn sessions are a lot easier on everyone and to be honest I am much happier with the results. I seem to have a larger variety of images because there is no wasting time trying to get baby comfortable in positions in props! (not that I did crazy things, I was still pretty basic but not basic enough for me).
