Christmas baby

I have a 1 year cash smash session with this little one tomorrow!!

Cake smash! My first! :)

I did my first cake smash today! So much fun!! I was alone with baby (babysitting) but mom made the cake and bought the balloons so all I had to do was the shoot!! (oh and of course clean up after). I loved doing it so much I now offer cake smash sessions!! :) (PS- no, she did not eat all that cake... it was all over the floor and mashed into itself!)

First I brought the balloons out... she thought that was the main event! ;)

I'm touching it... gotta check if Mary says it's ok...

Twins, twins & more

Yes, I have been neglecting my blog.  I actually forget about it! Whoops! :)

I am gonna squeeze in a few sessions.

Perfect day for a session!

It was a beautiful day yesterday (as it also is today!!) and it was perfect for a session!

We found out that she didn't like the feel of grass on her legs and feet! She also was mad at her hiccups! I am surprised I got smile :)

Once we got her off the grass and her hiccups were gone, we were golden!

Loving my newborn sessions!!

I am so happy with my decision to go back to the basics with newborn sessions.  No more loading up the car with all kinds of backdrop paper, clips, bean bag chairs, blankets, basket of props, space heater, heating pad etc etc.  Now I just load the camera bag and I am off! My newborn sessions are a lot easier on everyone and to be honest I am much happier with the results. I seem to have a larger variety of images because there is no wasting time trying to get baby comfortable in positions in props! (not that I did crazy things, I was still pretty basic but not basic enough for me).   Here is a link to an example of what I used to do.

I photographed an adorable little boy yesterday morning :). A little over a week old and about 5 lbs of sweetness!!

Little brother!

I had a wonderful session with an adorable family a few weeks ago. We went to Greeley park in Nashua on a day that happened to be "fairy tale fair" day, so of course there was some kind of pirate music over the loud speaker and we ended up having to almost yell to speak to each other. And we were across the street and far over towards the woods!! Haha, it worked out though :).
